YourStory was started in October 2008 by Shradha Sharma. Shradha lives her life in stories, and believes, every story is unique and every story matters. Since its inception, YourStory has profiled stories of over 15,000 entrepreneurs.  They are agnostic to sector and scale, covering entrepreneurs, startups and business ideas from web, mobile, cloud, e-commerce, enterprise to social, green and creative domains among others.
